Learning From My Wagering Blunders
I have been betting on the net or at brick and mortar gambling dens for many years. I have been taught, the addiction can acquire a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up until you are beaten. Markedly if you are on a run. I have gone through countless hundreds of dollars in just a little period of time and at times, I sometimes go a bit too long. It appears you are just enjoying yourself up till you make a choice to contemplate your squanderings and the guilt settles in, and of course you continue telling yourself "I will be able to win the money back" ad infinitum. It doesn’t work. Then you feel icky in your gut and the more you try the faster you relinquish.
When you see that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you begin to throw away, don’t convince yourself, "well only one more" a number of times, trust me, this plan barely ever operates. Say you are wagering on slot machines, have an amount set aside prior to starting your play. DON’T go over this threshold, no matter how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put the winnings in a separate canister. Don’t risk your earnings no matter what. After you have wagered through your original predetermined range, stop. Leave, whether it’s on the net or in a land based gambling den, do not stay at the tables or machines. Make sure to keep in mind, there will be another day, another time. Obviously, this plan usually will work for any casino game that you bet on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, vingt-et-un or any other game.
Remember, betting is supposed to be enjoyable not exhausting, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you can’t pay for the losses, do not even begin.
