Don’t Drink … Gamble!
If you enjoy a cocktail ever so often, leave your cash out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your purse, your billfold, and leave all money, plastic credit and checkbooks at home. Take only the money you expect to use on drinks, tipping and few dollars you expect to lose and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You might have a profit following a drunken night out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hook a long roll at a hot craps game. Don’t forget that account because it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and bet. The pair simply do not go well together.
Keeping your moolah out of the casino might be a little drastic, but preventative actions for dramatic behavior is essential. If you play to profit, then don’t drink and bet. If you are able to afford to blow your assets without a concern, then drink all the free booze your stomach are able to handle, but don’t pack charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of following losses after your drunken self loses all the cash!
Let me to take this one step more. Don’t drink and then hop on the web to wager in your favorite online casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the comfort of my abode, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards near by, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.
Why? Even though I don’t drink alcohol to excess, once I drink, it is clearly enough to befuddle my better judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. Both create a ferocious, and costly, drink.
